Fishing again

Well today my friend Brad and I decided to go try our luck fishing. We started out this morning with high hopes to Lake Powhatan. However, after about a couple of wetting hooks with no results, we left and continued the optimism at Davidson River. We fished our usual spots with not much better results. We finally ended up down by the picnic area at the entrance of the park. Which to our surprise was several trout swimming around. However, they apparently did not like the fly I was using and decided to try Brad's spinner. He ended up catching two rainbows about six inches long. I of course went home with my stringer empty. Oh well, there's always next time. No pictures this time because I left it at home.
